What if visibility didn’t have to feel so vulnerable?
That was the quiet question running beneath the surface of my conversation with
, Introvert Visibility Coach and writer at The Manifestation Project, as we explored the connection between energetic alignment and being seen. Rather than recording a structured podcast episode, we chose to co-create a post that felt more like a behind-the-scenes voice memo, one that unraveled insightfully and intuitively. This post is both a recap and a reflection, pulling together the most potent takeaways from our conversation, and inviting you to rethink how you show up and share your brilliance.
What Is EFT and Why It’s a Game-Changer for Visibility
If you’re new to EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), also known as tapping, it’s a somatic practice that involves gently tapping on specific meridian points on the body while speaking out loud. These points are connected to your body’s energy systems, used in traditional Chinese medicine—and tapping them helps shift stuck emotional energy.
What makes EFT powerful, especially for introverts or sensitive entrepreneurs, is that it helps bridge the gap between the subconscious mind and the conscious voice. Bree explained that often, the things we struggle to articulate are sitting just beneath the surface—and tapping gives them permission to rise without judgment.
“You can be tapping and suddenly say something like, ‘I just don’t want to be seen,’ and you didn’t even know that was sitting in your system until the words came out.”
That’s the magic of this practice. It’s not about perfectly crafted affirmations, it’s about truth rising through the body.
Before the Mic: Tapping as a Pre-Visibility Ritual
Whether you’re prepping for a podcast, a livestream, or a big conversation, nervousness is normal. Bree shared her favorite tapping script,
“Today is Going to Be Amazing”
which is designed to hype you up and recalibrate that nervous energy into excitement.
Some of her go-to affirmations include:
“I open up space to allow my magic to flow through me.”
“The audience is excited to hear from me.”
“I am connected to the power within me.”
“I create my own version of perfect.”
The purpose? To shift the state from frozen or frantic into flow. Because, as Bree pointed out, nervousness and excitement register the same in the body. The only difference is the meaning we assign to it. With EFT, you can choose your meaning.
Hosting with Heart: Tools for Interviewers
Our conversation naturally turned toward hosting. As someone now hosting more interviews and community conversations, I shared how I sometimes feel unexpectedly nervous, not always about the content, but about the energetic dynamic.
Bree emphasized that rapport plays a big role. Some guests are naturally more open or grounded; others might feel unsure or misaligned. As a host, you’re not just asking questions, you’re holding space.
She offered a brilliant reframe: interviewers can use tapping too.
“You could tap in, ‘I trust that this will be a powerful exchange,’
or ‘We are going to co-create something meaningful,’
Even affirming, ‘this guest has something important to share and I am here to receive it,’ can help set the tone.”
We also talked about giving your guest permission to pause, reframe, or restart, especially if they’re new to being interviewed. That tiny act of grace can transform the experience for both people.
Regulating Your Energy for the Long Game
One of the most valuable parts of our chat was about sustainability. Visibility isn’t a one-and-done task, it’s a rhythm. And if you're building something meaningful, you’re likely showing up on a recurring basis.
Bree spoke honestly about her own cycles:
“As an introvert and neurodivergent, I can show up hard for a month, but then I need space. Otherwise, I crash.”
She encouraged us to stop trying to run on a 24-hour “productivity clock” and instead honor the natural ebb and flow of a 28-day energy cycle. We need to create not only the rituals that bring us up, but the ones that bring us down, gently.
Tapping can help with that too. It’s not just for pre-event energy; it’s equally powerful post-event.
Bree suggests tapping through phrases like:
“I release the energy I gave,” or
“I return to myself now,” or
even simply acknowledging: “That was a lot. I deserve rest.”
Combining Modalities: EFT Meets Theta Healing
We discussed the upcoming collaboration between Bree and myself inside the Multidimensional Leaders and the Woo-Preneur School, where we’ll be facilitating a co-led workshop that combines my Theta Healing practices with her EFT guidance.
The intention is to help participants move from fear or energetic clutter into a flow state where your voice - and vision - can move freely when you speak in front of audiences.
Theta Healing helps uncover and shift deep subconscious belief patterns. EFT anchors those shifts with physical, spoken affirmation. Together, it’s like rewiring and re-embodying your voice in real time.
We’ll be creating this flow intentionally - using prompts, tapping points, and visualizations to simulate speaking on a stage, being received with enthusiasm, and leaving an impact. This is especially powerful for people who are preparing for summits, podcasts, or launching visibility campaigns.
It’s not about pretending. It’s about practicing belief in a new story.
